That's my assumption. It seems like it might actually work well.
...Yes
Really? I test drove a 2003 a few months ago, and it struck me as being underpowered.
No harm meant ;) I've got a project scooter, so I can't get too uppity.
Really, in a broad respect, they're kinda the scooters of the car world. Small, slow, rubbish transmissions, only useful in cities. Missing out a bit on price and fuel efficiency, though.
It's hard to take lessons on what's embarrassing from a man who rides a scooter.
It's especially odd they put it lower than the Beetle, since the Beetle will have all the same problems along with the lame body. I think a collective 9th for the entire generation (golf and beetle) with a special mention for the Beetle as being exceptionally bad would be fitting.
but like actually though. I'm on my third MkIV-era VW, and even my badly abused 1.8t GTI never let me down right up until the day it died (via crash) at 140,000 miles. Maybe I'm just lucky.
I don't know what you're trying to accomplish with these posts, but if the comments are anything to go by, I don't think it's working.
Strictly speaking, the original Viper was a no-top :p
Yeah, fuck those assholes who think they can get away with driving some fucking two door. How dare they have less than ideal rear seat access! Don't even get me started on those cockwagons who say to themselves "hey, sometimes I have to carry large things in the back of my car" and get a filthy hatchback! They might…
Mostly because it's funny.
Stuck in that I couldn't afford a MkV? Sure. Still beats having a MkIII, though :p
This from the guy who thinks CVTs are God's gift to transmissions.
I'd like to have a word with you. Out back.
Seriously. For everything that was wrong with it, it still managed to maintain quite a bit of good character. They're surprisingly comfortable and really quite fun to drive, albeit floppy and sluggish.
My guess would be the Rubicon trail, because Jeep.
What it really needs is a taller roof/lower seat.I much prefer looking through the windshield to looking over it :p
You're a cunt
