I'm fairly certain it's a universal law that that any missed shift will be during a hard pull with at least 3 observers.

You've gotta own it! Acknowledge them and just keep going!

Well since the fire hydrant has to connect to the fire truck first, they're pretty useless if they're pointing away from the road.

You mean the side pointing away from the fire?

How would that solve anything?

My solution for the glacially slow mergers is to hang back at about 25mph letting them get way ahead and do their slow merge. Then, when the ramp is clear, I go right-foot-down into the next adequately sized gap I see. As long as your car is decently quick, this should work on all but the shortest of ramps.

Jeeps are designed to be used doorless while normal cars are not.

Apparently you are, because Swede's been around for decades.

You and me both. There was a time when I could recite the whole movie from memory.

Oh God, so glad I'm not the driver of that Mazda.

Coming from someone who is 6'5"and 280, I'm guessing you're not very tall. Some of the most uncomfortable vehicles I've been in were colossal, and some of the most comfortable were tiny. Exterior size of a vehicle has much less bearing on interior ergonomics than you might think.

Speaking as a car guy, I feel like you weren't trying nearly hard enough to make us sound annoying. WE GOT SNUBBED.

It's like that with any big name college. Came really close to calling someone out the other day for claiming to be "proud to be a Spartan" while attending a community college an hour away from MSU.

Tug of wars are utterly irrelevant. Here, have a pickup truck out-pulling a semi truck:

By "in circles" I think you just mean you have no relevant information to provide and are going to simply ignore any of my points. Again, tug of wars are entirely irrelevant to towing, and are effectively just a test of how grippy your tires are. If a Range Rover were to attempt to pull a 10,000lb load, it'd be a

Torque, drive type, suspension, and other stuff all plays into it, but yeah, tug of wars are effectively useless as a vehicle metric. I'm sure an STI could embarrass lots of trucks, but you definitely don't want to tow with one.

1. That's a Raptor, not a normal F150. It's made for offroading, not towing, which is reflected in the 6,000-8,000lb towing capacity. Repeat the exact same contest on the dirt and you'd have a very different result.

Let's compare some towing capacities, shall we?
