Poor public image means less people want it means less people will buy them so, in a round about way, it can actually change things. Even though most of the people complaining aren't buying, a huge part of super car sales is public image.

I would love to see these things broken down into categories. There is a huge difference between a transmission failure, AC failure, and a broken radio.

I tend to consider APR as somewhat parallel to Toyota's TRD or MOPAR aftermarket parts. No, the extremities of the car are supposed to dissolve. The safety cage itself is supposed to stand up to anything. It being damaged is a HUGE concern.
