I can't speak for TX, but up here in Michigan bumper height restrictions do not apply to 4WD vehicles, if memory serves.

I don't know what happened to it, but I do know there was never a running version. It was a stationary prop.

Technically, it's actually a Saleen. Ford, understandably, didn't want the Mustang playing bad-guy to the Camaro. But I'm just being anal.

Humanity has been building boats for over 40,000 years, but the Titanic still sunk on its first voyage. Unless you can show me a Model T with a numbers-matching, computer-controlled dual-clutch automatic, that 100 years of experience does not directly apply to every single aspect of this transmission. It's new tech,

It's not the looks I remember as much as the smell.

Dammit double post.

Well, it seems to have worked for the Autobahn. Although it may be a cultural thing, it would seem to me that there is some sort of cutoff point of speed where you just aren't going to get used to going that fast. Plus, many of the same Americans who spend their commute texting behind the wheel seem to operate that

@AzureStarline: Actually, this is a good idea. Carpooling is good, and Toyotas are fuel efficient, right? Plus, based on preliminary calculations, by driving on two wheels, fuel consumption should be halved!

Right, now do it with the Beetle. Call it the "whatweshouldadone13yearsago" edition.

I hope they're giving Studio Ghibli some royalties for this one.

I suppose now is a good time to mention that I've always liked the new Camaro. I understand the proportions are ridiculous, you can't see out of it, and it's not particularly good. However, it just appeals to the same part of me that makes me want to play with hot wheels and watch Power Rangers. It's ridiculous, over

@Xelmon: Agreed. At least the Gumpert's ugly seems to hint at performance. The Huayra's just kinda whiffs of sushi.

@sr20spitfirehotrod: Actually, the Prius uses a revolutionary "fluidless" headlight, which uses a solid composite bar of various elements to power its headlights, rather than conventional fluid.

@Motor_Yakuza: That may be true, but it's hard to look at the car's styling if it's stuck in a ditch.

@SEXYHAMMER: I happened to like this movie very much. It had plenty of bright colors, and none of that bullshit "story" and "acting" crap to distract from them.

@Dawgvet06: Lots of space/carrying capacity without all the size/weight drawbacks of a minivan or other such vehicle.
