I hope it work. Mysteries of kinja.

I had the same embarrassing thought process. “How awful, I wonder who that was…Jesus, self.”

Reads more like they’re off their meds.

But that Bernie Bro money spends so nice, doesn’t it, Killer Mike.

If nothing else, his children will at least have a very broad understanding of the fallibility of authority figures.

I just starred and followed you, hopefully that helps pull you out!

They’ve previously done the Air Bud series. Just last week they did Iron Eagle. There’s no bottom to the shamelessly prolonged franchise barrel. I love this series. The worse the film series, the better, far as I’m concerned.

I love this column. Guitar string discussion is so very much my bag. More musical minutiae, A.V. Club!

This was a good conversation! You have lots of great points. Thanks for engaging, especially since these things can be hard to track with Kinja.

Ewww

There is something rather “holey” about it, isn’t there?

God, I loved those. Home Video Hell has been reappearing recently. That’s an often great one.

“PS: really like this type (and this particular) column. Feature columns like this, History of Violence, or older World of Flops, Cult Canon, Permanent Records, etc...”

I guess you shouldn’t have apologized. Maybe offer all these sore people a refund on their A.V. Club membership dues and allow them to look at other websites? Wait, this website is entirely free, and so are people, meaning they can look at any website they’d like? Oh, fuck them then. Whiney babies.

I understand and totally sympathize with the “I’d rather this end than continue” feeling. We could call it Simpsons Syndrome. But as I get older I’m growing to realize it’s best to just “be the change that want to see” or putting it in Simpsons terms, “Just don’t look”, which is to say if you want the A.V. Club to go,

“Some of us even wrote entire additional columns and covered shows AV Club didn’t...”

Yeah, what mainly happened is the old community spent soooooo much time maundering about down in the comments—mostly repeating lines from the Simpsons—they started to think they worked here. They found out they didn’t and got salty. Mad salty.

You’re pretty deluded if you don’t think every piece of content on every pop culture website is an advertisement. No one “tricked” you into doing anything.

I know I did for a long time. Whenever I would see “temblor” in print after an earthquake, I would think, man they sure fucked up “trembler”.

Also: UPDATED with board statement: The board of directors at The Weinstein Company — Tarak Ben Ammar, Lance Maerov and Bob Weinstein — are now confirming the deal to sell the company’s assets to the investor group led by Maria Contreras-Sweet and Ron Burkle. So is New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman.
