Sun Moon is a blast i’m glad you’re enjoying it. I’m relatively fresh to Pokémon myself, having gotten jealous watching my wife, who’s played since Gen 1, enjoying the hell out of Alpha Sapphire and needing to get myself some of those cute ‘Mon.

There was some really nasty, sexist shit posted by “aggrieved” and often longtime, beloved commenters on the article where a woman (was it Marah? I can’t remember) watched the original Ghostbusters for the first time and only came away mildly liking it. That was gross.

Hopefully Hollywood, which loves to portray itself as America’s Moral Compass, has realized that they can’t rightfully hope to stand against the Rapist in Chief with a bunch of their own awful sex criminals lurking in the wings. Hopefully.

Is it keyboard slap bass, or real slap bass, horribly recorded? I can’t make up my mind.

When I rewatch my Magnum PI season 1 DVDs, which is often, I finally come around to the brassy lounge theme about an episode or two before they make the switch to the iconic Mark Post theme.

That’s exactly why it’s so good!

I’m hoping we get a Game in Progress on Ultra Sun Moon, but I suppose it’s unlikely, it being somewhere between expansion and sequel. The original Sun Moon articles were a great read, though, with two perspectives on the game, one a seasoned Poké master, the other from a first-timer.

I was so very glad that Gameological still eschews letter grading, even after the switch to Kinja. Their game reviews, especially these multi-part ones can go to some pretty interesting places with regards to the relationship between the game and the player, and tease out some really interesting ideas.

Keep an eye out for stuff from Agrarian Ales down near Eugene, if you haven’t seen them yet. Small runs of truly unique beers, and they grow everything they use on their own farm, other than the grains (that come from a farm right near them.) Expensive, but with good reason. They’re great to age, too.
