#3. If part of the reason that the $35,000 Kona doesn’t sell is that it’s $35,000, one wonders how sales are of other $35,000 cars that are not EVs. Let’s compare apples to apples.

The next Jaguar sports car should return to its heritage and use a straight-6. I mean an non-gender identifying six-cylinder engine where the cylinders are arranged in a line, and mounted in a non-intersecting way with the transmission, propeller shaft and then intersecting the differential at the opposite end of the…
The emissions fight has been going on since the governments enacted legislation to reduce tailpipe emissions. The governments have continuously enacted laws to force manufacturers to reduce vehicle emissions. So the fight has continued. The fights over emissions will end, some day, when people no longer require…
Have you started feeling pressure to avoid ships or planes in recent years?
It’s the Honda Hawk GT, also called the NT650. Notice the single sided swing arm. What you can’t hear is the lovely sound this v-twin makes.
Nearly all New Yawkuhs don’t know shit about cars. So why is this news? What concerns me is when politicians don’t know shit about economics. Now THAT’s a problem.
Just think about all those poor folks who live out of their old Pontiacs, Dodges, and other heaps. They could be living out of one of these BMWs. It could be life changing!
AC Cobra replicas are for people who like to dress up as if every day is Halloween. Since this applies to most Harley-Davidson riders, it’s a huge market.
At $35,000 for a 200 mile range, it’s a toy. It’s actual range in summer heat and winter cold will be less.
200 mile range ain’t squat, unless you live on the densely populated East Coast bubble.

There are a lot of areas in the United States where cellphones don’t give great directions. Signals drop out in the mountains, and in low-density population areas. It’s easier to use a TomTom or Garmin in those areas than to stop and read a map.
And not only that, as a “survivor” of the cold war, you got over it about the time you brought home your final report card from second grade.
“I don’t know about you, but I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of constantly living with the threat of imminent global destruction hanging over my head!”
Where solar panel enthusiasts, global warmists, and Elon Musk fellatrixes miss the boat is in the application of solar water heaters. These could be deployed using off-the-shelf plumbing hardware with modest training and remarkably low-cost that wouldn’t require a 22-year amortization.
But hey, it’s not sexy. Yet,…
I like your articles, but you missed something on this one Torch. The European Lancia had European specification headlights that used a H4 halogen bulb. This allowed the designers to use the cantered light unit. In the US, we were still stuck with sealed-beam bulbs from the 1950s as that was what was allowed by the US…
There is no end in sight for the increasing popularity of Crossovers/SUVs. They’re popular because of improved visability of the road ahead for the driver. Also, ingress/egress are much easier for the folks who tip the scales on the spectrum of overweight to morbidly obese. Perhaps we should say, “gravitationally…
The smart way to pay for the swappable battery is through a “membership.” You, the Electroblatz 2025 driver would pay a monthly fee to the battery rental company. Pay (for instance) $150 per month and you’ll get five swaps for a battery that’s guaranteed to provide 275 miles of range. Or, you can pay $100 per month…
Or going away to camp. Or going farther than the cape for vacation because Maine is too far. Or going beyond D.C. to fencing tournaments.
You don’t get it. You probably failed statistics too, if you didn’t avoid it outright. Best of luck to you in whatever you do.
