i typically hate opening sequences and fast forward through them if allowed (i especially hate the one for house of cards). until recently, game of thrones was the only one that i enjoyed watching, but marco polo's is even better. the imagery and the music is just impeccable.

to be fair, both liberals and conservatives are pretty damn self-absorbed, it just comes through in different forms. humans tend to be remarkably self-absorbed. if you don't see it, chances are you are...well, even more self-absorbed than your average joe.
