I will forever stan Octavia Spencer because not only did she come to the Red Cross shelter where I was staying after the wildfires last year, BUT when I thanked her on Twitter a couple weeks later, she sent me a lovely message asking how I was doing.

omg YES (aka NOOOO). that got terrifying real fast.

I was all in until the need and thread!

I like Octavia Spencer so much I was rooting for Ma in all those scenes.  Seems like a wild ride.

Good on Justin for needing help, asking for it and being open about it. Wouldn’t it be a delightfully surprising turn of events if he ended up being a good role model.

hi love the kpop coverage :)

True!

This was really astute and perfectly reasonable. It’s always bothered me the way she throws a tantrum and gets off on the fact that she threw said tantrum, and you perfectly explained why. Thank you.

Eh, she leans on the fact that she’s his daughter.  She knows she would be 100% irrelevant if she weren’t, and she actually uses it as some type of evidence of authority or expertise.

Go back and read the original piece. He really was pretty awful. I know that the AV Club comments section is the place where angry fans go to stan their faves, but this was a lot worse than just “a bad date”. Bad dates are, “He talked non-stop all night,” not “He pushed my face into his crotch after I said we should

Zero reason to watch the final season now. Congrats B&W, you played yourselves

I will never forgive the Grammys for inviting Chris Brown to perform after he beat Rihanna. And then showing fucking Fergie and the entire front row giving him a standing ovation.  I will never understand that moment, and no one should ever forget this, either.

This is the 61st Annual “The Grammys Are Not Relevant to Current Music” discussion.

“...that allegation was already well known to Amazon (and the public) before Amazon entered into four separate deals with Mr. Allen...”

Yeah, I found the pron images really unnecessary and gross. And omg the monobro! I kept thinking, he’s not that good looking?! But I figured, maybe he was in a 1970s sort of way? I dunno.

I love this from the Rolling Stone article: “He was a nose-picker, a law school dropout, and a necrophiliac who often mispronounced words.”

Completely agree. I think I have a decent creep radar, but basically I’m distrustful of men until they prove themselves otherwise. But I easily could have been one of the women  he whammed over the head with a crowbar because I definitely would have helped him if asked.

He wasn’t attractive at all! Not that being attractive excuses his behavior, but how are all these women finding him charming and attractive?
