This is my “Holden Commodore” with 315hp V6, Twinster AWD and hiperstrut suspension.

Now if they could fit a manual to the LC

Lose the faux-vent/intake elements and 2000s era fussiness from the widebody (maybe a NACA if it’s functional on the bonnet), put some more motorsport wheels on it and restore the rear glass panel and I could dig it.

Yep definitely looks 2000's to me. I like the widebody but the execution doesn’t gel with the very 70s top half/greenhouse design elements.

Midship in a Pug 208 as a modern 205 ti16

Thats disgraceful. The auto was bad enough yet alone turning into an SUV. Should have left Alpines corpse alone.

At least that would give it an excuse for not having a manual box.

Pretty much yeah. As long as the artist is getting fairly paid for the work.

Hopefullt not. If the craftsperson/people receive fair payment for their product I dont really have an issue.

Meh. I try and collect a (sometimes multiple) model of every car I’ve owned no matter how boring including spending $100 on essentially a matchbox version of a family wagon. I have dumb stuff like a Fiat Multipla too. Some wrong people incorrectly enjoy SUV’s, so would have the same motivation to purchase a model of

This Honda isn’t a lightweight, manual, 8k RPM go-kart where the weight savings/simplicity of FWD outweigh the benefit of driving the rears.

By your logic, Rally isn't racing.

Coming in the clutch doesn’t sound sanitary or advisable in these conditions.

It’s more about the clutch. You’re bringing the engine up to speed with the gearbox so you can release the clutch quickly and cleanly without it braking the car. I sometimes see the technique described as blipping *after* pushing into gear, where the synchro’s have already done their job before the rev-matching part.

No

I never understood this sentiment. Overweight lump engines, crap throttle response and stunted power bands, crap engine note. In markets with high diesel availability you only drive one because you have too, or you think it makes your commuter dual cab more legit.

Yah I’ve seen probably one Camaro just recently. I’d forgotten they were even sold here and assumed it was a private import/conversion.

My 18 month old shop-lifted a bottle of hand soap the other day, but how can you lose sight of a 3 yr old long enough that they scratch not one but ten cars?

Fiesta ST isn’t fly-by-wire. Its rack is mechanically connected to the steering wheel with an electric motor (as opposed to a hydraulic pump) providing power assist, like most vehicles on the road today. Only mainstream steer-by-wire system in a car I’m aware of is Infiniti’s, which by all accounts is garbage.

The Supra looks like it needs to be a foot wider and/or 6 inches lower.
