Except that costs real money, where as companies are tossing away pallets all of the time making this almost free, just gotta but the wheels.

Ahhh, gotcha. your first reply, "I don't signal a lane change unless I'm trying to merge into a tight-ish spot.", had the implication that you rarely ever used them to change lanes since the definition of a "tight-ish spot" is pretty vague. I apologize, you seem to not be most idiots out there that erratically change

Well then you'll just squashed by the other vehicles that are, mainly the 3-4 ton pick ups running around ;-)

Hell to the NO. It never looked good. Reminds me of bile!

Ah, yea surprising other people at 70+mph in your 1.5+ ton automobile is not too safe ;-)

Lane Keep assist will warn you if you try to change lanes without using a turn signal. It's not really for me, as I always use my signal, but more for others to do the same. Although, this feature can also be easily switched off.

My SS 1LE tester came in at $40,340. It's not cheap, but it's certainly not stratospherically expensive, either, and still far enough away from the $53,000 Corvette Stingray for me to tell you to just buy that instead.

The 1LE package comes with just one transmission option, a special Tremec six-speed, and it's one of the better manual gearboxes I've used in a while. Gears are easy to find, shifts are aftermarket-kit levels of short and doing so requires a nice amount of effort from your arm. There's a 1-to-4 skip shift system here

Where's the MKII?!?

Some one should rally one of these!

You can get in a "run of the mill" Formula Ford with an NA 1.6L EcoBoost though if you run in the Formula Ford championship though...

This Formula Ford is a functional concept car and therefore not for sale :-\

I've also driven a retire NASCAR race car at MIS from the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience and is probably the fastest car I've ever driven. It's def the fastest speed I've ever driven, being limited to about 145mph-150mph.

I worked as a lot kid and floor sweeper at a dealership body shop and didn't know how to drive stick and everyone seemed too busy to teach me. So one day, I get fed up and was a bit bored, so I took a customer's older Ranger 5-spd (4.0L) that was in primer outside and awaiting paint and got in and messed around with

God I want that Formula Ford 1L EcoBoost! I guess I'll go watch Chris Harris' review of it again and dream...

Or the mechanic could just have a tablet or laptop on his toolbox with Skype or Webex to connect to the engineers for much less money...

I do see that now, but it was designed to look like the wings of an eagle actually.

Well an MKZ Hybrid has very minimal Hybrid badging on it. From the outside, you could never tell the difference except for the "2.0H" badge on the trunk, unless it's a light ice blue paint color, as that's only available on hybrids. So you may have seen a few and not even have known it.

A Chassis Cab Transit is also being made, but just wasn't featured in Andrew's article.
