for now, I agree completely. Honeymoon feels unremarkable compared to her other albums. First tracks are fine, but then the next ones all sound the same.

it is a fantastic piece of cinema. it's odd it was so poorly received upon release, because even if you're not able to "follow" it (who can?), it's obviously unique also from a purely technical point of view.

Are you looking for an opening? A way in?

The thing I like about Age of Ultron is that it accepted it was comic book movie, and embraced the crazyness of the genre. Unlike the first Avengers, which tried to downplay that aspect a bit and just be a fun action movie. I like both, but I appreciate the boldness of AoU.

I watched Inland Empire. Or actually, I tried.

ah, the Funky Spiderman!

I don't remember it exactly, but aren't the "milk women" actually in control of the Citadel by the time Furiosa and the gang arrive? At least they already managed to free themselves from the milking machines, and who's going to overpower them? Joe's remaining sons are stupid or severely disabled. It's the milk women

Only Lovers Left Alive is my first Jarmusch, so I don't know whether I like his style in general. Is there anything to recommend as a follow-up to OLLA?

Having seen Take Shelter first is a bad thing, since all other movies Nichols makes are bound to disappoint compared to that masterpiece. Good grief, what a fantastic film it is. Shannon is of course amazing, but I think Chastain is its stealth MVP because she manages to keep the story grounded. But then again, I'm a

I really liked Wild. Witherspoon and Dern did some great work, and I also loved how the film doesn't really chooses Cheryl's side: she's clearly been a shitty person, and they're not exactly trying to redeem her. It's rather just her trying to move on, since trying to change the past or think to much about it is

Stoner is so, so, so great. An amazingly realistic portrayal of academia, and a great depiction of life itself, I guess.

I went to the wedding of a good friend. The weather was really bad, but she looked lovely and, most importantly, very happy. I was amazed by how touched I actually was, and how happy I was for her. It's a nice feeling.

It's amusing how the review makes pretty bold statements about the season (like Edgar and Lindsay not being able to support a B plor on their own at all) based only 2 episodes. I know that this type of season reviews always uses a limited number of episodes, but two is really not a lot. Definitely because the show's

This. Also, Maslany isn't really that well known at all. Orphan Black is really popular on this site, but not that big a hit in general. She hasn't been in a major Holywood production yet, so in that sense, she definitely qualifies as "unknown".

It really started falling apart at the end of s2, but I think the first half of s3 managed to "cool down" the show a bit. Because the last few episodes of this season were excellent.

I was a lot happier before I knew Lois Lane was a man! A lot happier!

Disappointed by the lack of disco in the trailer

the statistical analysis…it's so beautiful

"Of course, the true X-factor…of Rogue Nation…is…the…sequence…in which Hunt…blows up in the background" - A.A. Dowd

"I keep getting pigeonholed as these complex characters in highly
acclaimed movies. For once, I would just love to phone it in and play a
two-dimensional girl in a romcom with no inner life of her own. That's kind of the reason I got into this business"
