Well I frankly have always found the Daytona to be extremely attractive, not in the same way as the GTO. But nevertheless aggressive and stunning to behold.

What is your point? The more than 2.0 liter class had been in place for a while and the Cobra was originally homologated in 1962 with a 260 (4.2 liter) engine. Then it was upgraded to a 289 which is a 4.7. And don't tell me they cheated or the car was a rip off Ferrari did the same thing with the GTO.
Wow that is interesting. I can actually see the steering wheel in the center. Why was it there? Was it to save on production costs?
I know the history and we can talk "what if's" all day long. What if in 1964 the race had not been canceled Shelby might have won the 1964 Sportscars Championship. I suppose I look at the racing history and what actually happened. Not what could have happened. But you make a good point nevertheless.

Disappointing that the Cherokee won't come from our shores. I hope this does't become a trend for Jeep.
I wouldn't mind seeing one but if it competes with the CTS I wouldn't build it if I were Cadillac.
It's 5 o'clock somewhere!
This is the kind or truck hobbies consider mansions.
This one has so much meticulous effort being put into it I would say it has be worth at least 30k.
This guy is building my favorite movie car of all time. Super jealous. I want it!
That is what I am trying to get at. Yes they have many wins and a prestigious image however the company isn't ever held accountable for their actions compared to other racing companies.
YES! What ever happened to the wonderful 4 door convertible?
Such a shame these are not sold in the US. Think of the competition it would have with the Wrangler!
Yep on a 95 day with humidity it was a joke
