Long road trip through the Adirondacks in my 99 9-3 SE and found myself going 120 in 5th effortlessly. I don’t remember the exact RPMs but I was just getting back into the >3000 rpm boost sweet spot and it just wanted to blast off. That was the least quick but most fast car I’ve ever had. Long legs, indeed.

Not American, but an ‘86 560SL could do the trick....

Anyone care for me to come back and do a photo dump of sorts of US wind turbine delivery/assembly? (For 7 years I worked for an energy contractor building the wind farms - when I left, we had built 9 of the 17 largest US farms - I was on 5 of those)

It’s ok, they’ll just fill in the gaps with CGI and the horse’s brother.

Having been through Greenbriar my fair share of times, this deserves so many stars.

CSE’s for the win!

Nice aero

Buy for $800, recoup some of the money by selling those Recaro Aero seats and other salvageable bits to keep some other 9000s on the road. The only thing I can see coming back to bite a new owner on the ass is that damn TCS throttle body. I have a 95 9000 Aero w/o TCS but isautomatic. It’s fun to drive in its own way

Agreed. I think the difference between regular tires and performance tires would in many cases be less than that $400 short shift kit they linked.

For high-altitude adventures, give this seal a Garmin tracker

This is actually an interesting view into the mind set of this billionaire, it screams safe room. I think this guy genuinely thinks that all large governments are going to collapse because they cant pay the cost of running their states (welfare) and the hordes will swarm the rich and thats the end. The design of this

That’s actually not so unlikely. If you have the right sockets, a way to get under the car, a way to pull off the oil pan without tearing into the suspension and the parts, it’s doable.

I once had my throttle cable linkage break off in the middle of the street... right in front of the only unoccupied legal parking spot in miles. I half mended it with duct tape, drove it home, then replaced the tape with zip ties.

Will you tell that to mine?
I had an alternator set on fire mid rally-stage, a driveshaft snap in a field 10 miles from the nearest phone, and it spat two rear tyres off axle deep in mud in the bottom of a Welsh valley, had to climb 5 miles to the top of a hill just to get a signal and have someone meet me with a pair

International Harvester all the way. I’ll be buyin’ em ‘til they go out of–

Change the law so that you can get a motorcycle license at 14, but can’t get a car license until you are 18, or even 21.

Gringo and Bonanza. The Bullitt is a full face.

Looks like a Builtwell Gringo. The right (green?) looks like a Bell 500, but it could also be a Builtwell Bonanza.

I can figure this out!!
