I do like how the biggest name attached to this film is Patrick Stump off Fall Out Boy.

Well, that was not very good.

It had a really clever gimmick that made me constantly think about what I would do if it was after me. And it wasn’t a sequel. I was actually excited to watch it because of the gimmick and I don’t get excited about any horror movies.

With all the caveats mentioned by Ruprect, I don’t think there’s anything inherently lazier about wanting to get into children’s programming than there is about wanting to get into adult programming. There’s good stuff and bad stuff to be found in both realms, at roughly equal ratios.
