In the US, I’d say outside 1/64, 1/24 or 1/25 has got to be the most popular. Then comes 1/18 and 1/43. I love 1/43 as well, but in the US it gets overshadowed- there are not as many American cars available in that style.
Yeah, wish lists are my go-to. I don’t care if it’s not a surprise, as long as it’s something I want.
Yep. After some suggestion, my ex girlfriend got me a 1/43 1934 Tatra T-77A by IXO. It is spectacular. I later got a 1/43 1934 Voisin C-27 Aerosport Coupe by Spark. Gorgeous. Next on the list is a 1/43 VW XL-1 by Spark. These things can get VERY specific.
1.6L instead of a 1.5L. Put out slightly more power than a stock DX. I’m guessing you don’t like economy cars.
If an LSD or locker is not “activated”, it acts like an open diff. The wheel with least resistance determines how much total power is being put down. Since there is no resistance to the wheel in the air, neither wheel can put down any usable power. It’s just like a truck with one wheel spinning in the mud, except the…
You can’t see Group B on a road trip in 2016 in North America though. Regional rally, though...
The driveshafts are connected regardless of whether it’s driving four wheels. What difference would it make?
Much appreciated.
What’s the best way to learn about local organizations?
He surely felt a sinking feeling in his stomach.
Pond scum stinks
And you would consider it organized right now? :)
For competitors? Sure. But for workers and spectators I have to assume it’ll be the same old dance with different logos on the waivers.
Well, Subaru is the only works team running 4WD cars. Toyota has been doing well with their RAV4 this year at the hands of Ryan Millen, who won a Best Rookie Driver award (iirc) at LSPR, but an 80's Porsche still beat him (no surprise). I suppose Toyota didn’t want to dive in head-first without a reasonable STi…
Thanks for the polite response. More fuel and more air combine into a larger explosion inside the cylinder, pushing the pistons down with more force, and producing more power.
I just had an hour long discussion about this with a friend, finally successfully explaining it to him, so I will do my best to repeat that here to clear things up for everyone. I want to do this in a matter of fact manner, but please do not take my words as aggressive; I’m only trying to kindly clarify the concept.
