Too busy cheating in WRC to care... ohhh! Sick burn!

Or a really good story waiting to be told! haha

Baby, don’t hurt me. Don’t hurt me no more.

That is fantastic. What good friends you have!

Top Gear already did that with gas cars. Haha

Your van is amazing. I’ve long wanted to paint one of my cars in graffiti, and came pretty close to doing so once, but ended up with dazzle camo instead. Do you have any other photos?

Flat green paint? That’s definitely gloss. Did you mean “muted”?

So did you track down the iPhone in person?

Now playing

He quite clearly says “taller”, “baller” and “call her”.

Impaler.

Have you ever even listened to the damn song? Not once does he pronounce it “Impala”. It’s got to rhyme with “baller”.

They put the fairing on.

They can’t afford the drag of a canopy. With a bicycle you can’t add more power- you can only reduce drag. And at 90mph there is a LOT of drag. For high speed runs (not sprints), aero drag is a much bigger problem.

Plus, as DamnTheNoise states, a canopy would mean you’d have to raise the rider’s position so he could

A lot of recumbent racers have extendable “landing gear” for their faired racers. Usually it is a roller blade wheel on the end of a stick that slides out of the fairing on one side. Of course for land speed records you can’t afford the weight penalty.

Would you rather have a rabbit in a hat with a bat and a six-four Impaler?

Make driving tests cost more money, then. It’s really simple, and it’ll probably force more people to study harder before taking the test so they don’t forfeit the money.
Don’t act as if it’s impossible to tell if someone knows how to drive. It’s a matter of caring (as a society) whether they do, not discerning it.

Oh, ok. Well, there have been a lot of sketches like that floating around in the past ten years. Only a few made their way into the light of day.

Are you comparing the 2009 Vision Efficient Dynamics show car to the 2011 Saab Phoenix? In my opinion they were two iterations from a popular styling trend that is generally too expensive to implement on normal cars.

So test them and take the license away if they can’t drive acceptably. It’s a license, not a birthright.

Right? It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it was definitely a “true” Saab, previewing their now-stillborn platform iirc. They even had a new Sonett in development.

Personal Identification Number number?
