$5000 Mk2.

One of the problems with the modern minivan market is that you can’t compare a small crossover to a minivan because there are no “mini” minivans. Now, compare a similarly sized Explorer or Traverse to a Grand Caravan and an Odyssey and you’ll see that the minivans actually get equal or better fuel economy. I do wish

K, glad you like the MDX :)

Meh. I did just fine with my Rabbit that was rated (new) at 0-60 in 10+ seconds. Handling on the T&C was less of a concern than the size itself, and making it smaller would help that greatly. I don’t really care about AWD, sorry. More of a snow tire guy.

The first four wheel drive vehicle to win an FIA sanctioned rally was a Jeep Wagoneer at Press On Regardless in Michigan. Then again, our roads are probably wider than those in Europe.

I mean, it would be hilarious to watch, but it would suck for all the reasonably sized cars just trying to have fun... :/

I have to imagine it would drift around a tight corner and become wedged between the sides of the course, blocking all other competitors and shutting down the stage until sweep could get in.

I get you. I rented a T&C last year for a rally trip, and while it was nice to fit three bicycles in the back., I really don’t appreciate that there are no smaller options. But then again, I naturally gravitate to the smallest hatchbacks available.

All but the Sedona get between 26-28 mpg highway. Not great, but if you start with 28mpg you could pretty easily bump that to 29 or 30 on the highway with a couple mods and careful driving.

Why do you prefer it to a minivan, which offers all the same pros, with even better use of space?

Just watched the vid. Great! The history is really intersting! Do you have more footage of the steering mechanism? I’m fascinated but very confused as to the function of all those idler wheels on the chain.

Safety is all relative, and phone use while driving is a very dangerous activity- some say more dangerous than driving drunk. It is also very preventable, much like drunk driving. They are low hanging fruit on the driving safety tree.

God, how did people even SURVIVE before cell phones? ;)

Just checking. I’d suggest buying a smaller phone, but that’s just me! :)

The spiders are dicks though. I’m having a hard enough time keeping them at bay inside the house!

So how do you carry your phone while walking?

Ugh, that popped up on The Social Media earlier. Gross.

OMG Jason I just did an Oppo post on this! Thanks for the vid! I’ll watch later. :D

I concede that many people use phones for the above functions, but what does “comfort” have to do with anything?

The radio doesn’t need to be looked at for 30 seconds at a time. You glance, touch the knob and turn it. Facebook, however, sucks you in.
