Yeah, I don’t think I’d be patronizing those kind of businesses. At least, not with a car I cared about. My former rusty Civic hatch with the mismatched door and lowering springs? Yeah, I don’t give a crap. But my truck? Hell no.

I guess you’d have enough cause to never use that valet or police department ever again. As if you’d want to in the first place...
Could have just memorized the last couple digits too... I don’t know. If I had a Lambro, I might be suspicious enough to take note.
I have to imagine they would have taken an odo photo before letting the police tow the cars away.
Maybe I’m missing something, but don’t second gen 9-3's share quite a bit with Malibus?
No, that was only the early Saabs.
Hmm, I don’t know, maybe up the registration cost $5 and have someone walk into the parking lot and watch you demonstrate your knowledge of the car’s basic safety systems (and lights ARE a safety system)?
Was it a geological oddity?
This.
Semis will be turning much, much larger circles on the freeway, so there will be a much smaller chance of lane deviation compared to city buses.
Yeahh.... that’s basically how Woodward Ave meets got shut down in the Detroit area. Except with less cause and more bored suburban police.
That sucks; it sounds like the cops were brought in as a response to a local problem. I wonder if the same issues would arise in a venue that had a good relationship with the participants. You know, as more of a good-will, keep-people-safe kind of deal. Kids don’t like being told how to drive (I know I didn’t), but…
Interesting. Do you think it was because of the lack of burnouts, or were there other factors at play?
*Dons flame suit*
No Drift’bu pics, no care
You mean roll away and kill people? Greeeeaat feature.
The shifter still moves forward, though. Look at the space it takes up when shifting into Park. I don’t think they’re saving any space with this design, and if they are it’s very little.
I’m actually kind of curious what car this is, because I’ve never heard of such a “feature”.
A MERICAN Ford or a YURRPEAN Ford?
