It's not often that a swap comes around that combines efficiency with badassery.
as always....
4BT swap for the Ranger.
The Beetle has looked like the 911 since 1963.
Yeah, I had the t-bolt set to win the whole shebang. The final for me was this and the GNX
That is a very inefficient snowplow.
Designed originally by Borg-Warner, but they've been Tremec boxes since 1998.
They're really fun. I've got an 89 SC. It's no GNX (which I voted for) but it was a legit hot rod in the early 90's. It weighed as much as a Crown Vic but could outrun a Fox of the same year and keep up with a C4 Vette.
I got an 06 after the 2000 and I've been regretting it ever since. 200 extra cc's and 20 extra horsepower does not help move along an extra 600 lbs. The only gripe had about the old Essex is the extremely narrow power band.
If the pavement is smooth and not full of holes (fortunately I live in the good road state of North Carolina), there is no comparison between IRS and solid axle.
40 miles per hour is faster than 1 mile per minute?
My 2000 Mustang V-6 5-speed. All stock apart from the 17" Bullitts. I adored that car. Who needs power when you have decent weight and the proper transmission?
Halo lights...
Reprogram any Ford keyless entry remote to work with any other Ford (did this for my wife's 2002 Explorer with a 1999 Mustang key fob)
Nice price if it has a row-your-own.
Did it? All I remember is that it previewed Super Mario Bros. 3 (In my top 5 video games of all time)
I viewed the final as a real world test. Sure, the GNX is a GNX: It has that glorious turbo 6 and trick suspension, but it's a 1980's GM product. That was its downfall in the end. The Thunderbolt is a 1960's Ford product. That was enough for me. Then I took into account that orgasmic 427 FE and racing pedigree.
"Oh, yeah? Well just keep your Power Gloves off her, pal."
