Oh yeah! Back in the day it was the tippy-top, but today, with variable vane turbos, direct injection, electric power steering, and rev-match manual transmission, this thing is an artifact.

The SVO was extremely simple. Ancient SOHC 4-cyl, plain-ol 5 speed stick, live axle. It did have discs all around (which are simpler than drums, you have to admit) and Koni shocks, though.
