Yeah I think we may get most of our oil from ourselves now via fracking.
That’s kind where I am too. Anything the Saudi’s don’t like is probably just fine for me (and for the US).
This is a wonderful idea! Let’s arm to the teeth a bunch of extremist rebels and try to use them to destroy one of the only factions which has a chance of restoring the balance of power in Syria! What could possibly go wrong?!
They’re single shot systems. Shoot and toss the tube. I’m not sure if they could be reloaded at the factory, but they certainly can’t be in the field.
That’s completely how I feel. What Obama hopes for and is pursuing isn’t really an option.
Don’t agree with this. Firstly, this isn’t Afghanistan. Russia’s aircraft are far more capable of protecting themselves and deploying munitions from positions that are either outside the MANPAD envelope completely or on the fringes of it. They’ll score victories but it won’t be enough to change the balance of power…
Saudis will collapse, they are having their asses handed to them in Yemen as it is.
Hi Russia.
Please beat the shit out of saudi’s... They really deserve it.
Thanks, the World.
Well, we can file this one under “what could possibly go wrong?”
Equally important question - would you say that Russia lost sixteen Frogfoots last week, or Frogfeet?
If this were to occur, how exactly Russia will react to their aircraft being fired upon, and even brought down en-masse by Sunni Arab state supplied MANPADS remains unclear.
1. None has happened, that we (the public) know of
I watched this the other day, and his quote at the end of it really stuck with me. Seems dead on, not only in the context of the Syrian situation, but conflict at any level.
Rofl... Saudi Arabia, one that’s dropping cluster bombs on Yemen, is going to “help” “unimaginable civilian tragedy”?
The hole in your logic is that you assume that when one side or the other gets the upper hand the “civilian” tragedy will cease.
Well, that’s one way to hike of the price of oil, Saudi Arabia, get into a shooting war with Russia.
This kind of idea never went wrong before...
