Given the insane plan conservatives have had to do everything possible to fight Obama on everything since Day 1 of his first term, it’s difficult to believe the deal was a bad one. Especially since every other country but one is happy with it. And Israel doesn’t count given how dickish they’ve been acting.

Obviously they’re not spent but seems like we’re racking up a lot of hours on a very limited set of airframes. Also, every hour in the air is another hour where something stupid can happen and we lose an (effectively) irreplaceable asset.

North Korea is such a freaking tactical nightmare. We need twenty-first century technology to fight starving, crumbling Vietnam-era forces because they happen to have one of the best defensive and offensive positions in the known world. Work a deal with China replace the NK leadership by summer and we will help with the refugees. NK can stay as a buffer between China and SK. If not we arm everybody in the region and the SCS with new top of the line weapons to include Taiwan.
