I actually had a similar plan. Use tomahawks to destroy their rearward military bases and government centers. Then pretty soon all you have to worry about is their forward bases, which could be dealt with more straightforward l.

Very hilarious considering how short a distance it actually was.
Surveying. The USGS and surveying companies would freaking love these
Which is why we should put the old M18 Hellcat in instead of the Abrams.
Well, I know 70 tons is 70 tons, but if I am not mistaken, the Abrams has some killer good acceleration. I mean, it still can be outrun by nearly every car ever put into mass production in the last 80 years, but for a tank I believe it has pretty good acceleration.
Tank pole vaulting!
I do wonder, on a humorous note, Ina conventional engagement, where both sides are at maximum nuclear readiness, who would accidentally nuke themselves first? Both have pretty old nuclear forces, and training mishaps seem to be the norm nowadays...
Well, theoretically, it is important in the theoretical conventional engagement, but quite correctly, it is not important.
Pretty much what they did in Ukraine come to think about it.
Which is something I think most Europeans don't get. The U.S. can easily defend against a conventional Russian attack, and Russia could easily defend against a conventional American attack, but whoever fires first, Europe losses.
Well, this is getting out there in imagination, but there are ways... Consider this:
Agreed. If I recall, I think Russia has always had that gauge, at least since the early USSR era.
But typically, there are repercussions to the automakers in a scenario like that. Around defense contractors, all they get is a padded pocket. I personally would have gone, at least in the interim, with more F-15 production and modernization as opposed to as much F-35 production, if only to give them a lesson.
I would argue that every country thinks themselves best.
I am very happy to see this. Imagine if automakers were allowed to use the military’s development methods.
I am not sure, but the raises state of readiness due to tensions with Russia and China could be partially to blame for a lot of the crashes that have been going on.
But it would be globally damaging as well, and be very hard to get people on board.
Well, if the T-50 goes more overbudget, it will be a true fifth gen fighter.
Sadly, you hit the nail on the head
