I forgot about the teabagging holograms. Those were hilarious.

To quote Calvin’s dad, I guess you can forget about having a millionaire baseball player support you in your own age.

Want to expand on that a little bit?

Immersive game board physics are a must here. How else are you supposed to simulate flipping the board after landing on a Boardwalk hotel, owned by that smug asshole Brian?

How can Indie development be dead, if the market is over-saturated from having so many games? Those statements seem contradictory to me.

Hot take, my friend.

White people are capable of doing research, too.

Yeah, but the response Stephen got from Ubisoft implies that 200 is the only Helix you get for free, for completing the prologue. You’ve got to shell out for the rest. The map bundle costs 400.

That really makes it seem like you have to spend more real money to get the in-game maps, if you don’t buy their season pass. And that sucks.

Right, but if there are easy in-game ways to earn Helix, they aren’t explained in the article. All Stephen had to say was:

Thanks for the reminder. Probably going to wait and pick this and ME: Shadow of War on sale, I’m expecting they won’t stay at full price for long.

Alright, Black Flag was the last one I played, so that doesn’t sound so bad if they give you enough Helix to collect the maps normally. In the article they only mention 200 for finishing the prologue, and 500 for buying the season pass.

You have a point. My only problem with that is the current season pass trend makes me want to just wait for the “full” version of the game to come out, with everything included. I feel like I’m a sucker for paying $100 dollars to play it right now, and get the rest of the content in pieces.

You’re conveniently leaving out the fact that the Switch already has a rock-solid first party lineup, in addition to its continued growth of great third-party indie games.

No need to be such a contrarian. The Witcher 3 is a fucking marvel of gaming.

But, they noted, the maps that reveal item locations are only purchasable with Helix. Such maps had been obtainable in the earliest Assassin’s Creeds just by playing the game.

If this is true, it should be front and center.

I’m not understanding how integrating motion controls is getting away from sticking cables into the TV. Isn’t one of the main complains about this setup is that using motion controls in handheld mode requires you to shake your console, which is a shitty thing to do?

Have fun missing out on one of the best releases of the year, because of a slight inconvenience on a tiny percentage of the game’s content.

Even if there is a special treat for collecting everything, take an hour, find a flat surface to put your Switch on (or just dock it to a TV...) and disconnect the joycons, and get the 12 that you’re missing. It’s really not that big of a deal.
