But for real, the sticks are pretty crap on the Joy Cons. Sticks feel so much better on the pro controller.

It’s not. He just thought the word sounded buzzy.

I usually get frustrated with the legend grind and just punt on playing ranked. Arena’s more of an even playing field, easier challenge to tackle if you’re short on time.

Always too soon for Steve :(

There have been improvements in data transfer too, you just don’t see them. Games are orders of magnitude larger than they were several years ago, but the load times aren’t orders of magnitudes longer. That’s partially a hardware improvement, but there’s also some optimization going on.

Like the article says, hardware speeds for CPUs and GPUs have far outstripped read/write speeds to drives. Solid state drives improve on this quite a bit, because they’re a step closer to being like the ultra fast storage cache/registers in your CPU, but you’re still limited by the speed of the SATA connections.

But to go so far as to say that Lucio in particular must like Soccer because he’s Brazilian and that he must take it to a religious level is ridiculous. There are a lot of Brazilians for whom that is not true. It is stereotypical to assume every Brazil character should behave that way.

Winky face

It does play a lot like TF2, just with a more variety, so if you’re burned out on that you probably won’t enjoy it too much. I do find the internet community around the game strange, but it doesn’t really show itself in the game much at all. There’s not even an intro video or anything... you log in, start up

Paid to do what? Design cool skins that people want to buy, or cater to ninnies like you?

The community around it is, yes. In terms of how much lore that Overwatch has actually created for their characters, it’s very shallow. Overwatch isn’t a RPG, it’s primarily a competitive multiplayer shooter.

“Offensive” is subjective. Literally everything you do in your daily life, there’s someone in the world who would be offended.

You probably have more experience with Destiny raids than I do, so I’ll defer to your take on it. Probably one of those things that differs from community to community.

Agreed, playing with randoms can lead to some of the best times in gaming. Had a lot of similar experiences with Left 4 Dead... Just get a mic, be friendly, be a goofball, and people will want to have fun with you.

The PC version of Destiny 2 will be on Battle.net rather than Steam or another platform.

Man, I want to hang out with Carl :(

I dunno, the food’s pretty good in my experience. The key is to realize that the wings are just sauce delivery mechanisms. Their sauces are rad.

Man, that’s a super cool and creative way to show off your collection.

Even when you realize and admit that you do some of these things (I do), it’s pretty tough to break the behaviors. Takes a lot of self-awareness and vigilance.
