Agreed, I was mostly just pointing out that consoles tend to lag behind for that reason. Being a year behind is pretty excessive.

Being a game developer is really a labor of love. You can usually make much more money, with far fewer working hours if you choose to be a developer in some other field. But, then you’re not making awesome video games.

I mean, it is way more expensive to bring patches to the consoles.

But that little bit in parenthesis is what completely negates the rest of your comment. This is not even close to the same situation.

Haha I agree. I still love the series, but man that ending was crap-tastic.

That was the joke.

That already exists! A fully budgeted, Triple-A RPG built on player choices, where the thousands of choices you make through an epic storyline culminate in a beautiful finale, in which the full weight of the your decisions finally hits home.

Yeah, I also found the heroes went down super quickly every time I saw them. I thought they might need a health buff to be honest.

I’m actually glad Evan takes time to sort out these hairy issues.

I’m cool with XP boosts, as long as they don’t drag out the levelling process in future content to try to force people to buy level boosts.

I’ll grab the pitchforks.

Agreed, the Mixamp gives a lot of value well after the headphones bite the dust. Pretty neat device.

Actually, the pair of Astro A40s I had were some of the best headphones I’ve ever purchased. At $250 they were well worth it for the use I got out of them. Not sure what headphones you’re looking at that cost $400, but the most I’m seeing is $300 for the wireless A50s.

I think Tom Cruise actually does most of his own stunts.

Maaaan, MGSV has such a great soundtrack.

There have been a million and a half videos on the actual mechanics of Moment 37 before, a cursory google search will turn up all kinds of information on it. I thought a look into the players personal lives and their state of mind at the time was refreshing.

Looks pretty close to an SG 553 to me, which already has a scope on it.

I can’t help but feel that the store manager in the “Mistaken Theft” story isn’t completely in the wrong. Someone could super easily just walk in with a Target bag, grab a game and stuff it in the bag, and try to walk out with it. Without a receipt, I’d be pretty suspicious too.
