Detective Pikachu looks like it was made by people who cared about the project. Sonic looks like it was made by people who were contractually obligated to make a live action Sonic the Hedgehog movie, with the possible exception of Jim Carrey who at least seems to be trying to pull off a Raul Julia in Street Fighter.

I regard VIII’s battle system with a similar attitude as II’s- it was a nice attempt at doing something different, and I can certainly see and appreciate what they were trying to do with both, but in the end they create too much variance. It’s too easy to hit the extremes of either system- you either don’t understand

How much does going off-grid mess with pathfinding? Do Sims get confused or create any graphical oddities when navigating something like your backyard movie area?

In the original game, he forced you into an upgrade and further debt each time you paid the original off. Given that the house upgrades are optional & more controlled in the newer games I’d agree with you there, but original Tom Nook was absolutely running a racket.

This is pretty much an obligatory mention any time Japan’s legal system comes up, but the Ace Attorney franchise is basically political satire that only looks completely absurd through a Western lens. The 99% conviction rate, expectation of those arrested to confess, the lack of due process, and the seemingly rushed tr

That can’t be Krillin, he’s clearly more than 3 feet tall!

(also, I wonder if that 5' 11" is actually its length and includes its tail, which probably puts it closer to the 3' - 4' standing height, but it’s still very odd to leave it that way when I’m sure Charizard’s height doesn’t include the tail)

IMPORTANT QUESTIONS:
1) Will this incorporate the additional content in Link’s Awakening DX (specifically, the color dungeon and the photographer mouse)?

Except it looks like you can’t have two people simultaneously playing as Blue and Yellow Toad. Which doesn’t fix the main complaint- that with four people playing co-op, at least one has to play as one of the “Easy Mode” characters.

In the games, Olivia is single. We know this because an unusual number of NPCs comment on it. In hindsight, this makes their getting together kind of obvious.

I am aware that Toadette is the female version of Toad. My argument is that the Super Crown Bowser is blatantly not the female version of Bowser. It’s Peach with some Bowser-like characteristics. If this were simply “female Bowser”, then Bowsette would be a perfectly fine name; but that’s clearly not what’s happening

I disagree that Bowsette (as presented in the posted comic and generally consistent with other fanart) is “the feminized form of the masculine Bowser”, though. As I mentioned in a reply to someone else, she’s more Peach than Bowser by design- rather than what a hypothetical female Bowser might look like, she comes

Except the character in question isn’t “Bowser, but female”. It’s “Bowser-Peach amalgam character”. She looks more like Peach in a Bowser cosplay than whatever Bowser’s hypothetical twin sister would look like.

It still makes me irrationally angry that the Internet Collective Hivemind™ name for the Peach-Bowser hybrid is Bowsette. No, I don’t care that the Peach-Bowser portmanteaus sound dumb. Peachette is named because she’s a Peach-Toadette fusion, Peach-Bowser should follow the same rules.

Looks like a few people are starting to protest. But yeah, I think we’ve reached the point where more people want to see a fight break out than people actually want to fight.

I’m just here for the comments section fight over whether or not this franchise should be called “anime”.

Some of their costumes in Ultimate switch the order, so you’re playing as Nana and Popo is the assist (you can tell by their haircuts). Then it’s Nana who can fight alone, and Popo who pops out of existence if stranded.

Pilotwings was my jam growing up, and I will not sit idly by as you besmirch its honor.

My Jinx has a move called Double-Edge, which kills most things pretty quickly, especially with the amount of stat-enhancing candy I’ve fed him.
