Oh, being a DM is absolutely a learning process. I’m not trying to say that it should either come naturally or you should give up trying. I’m just saying that one of the skills that will make you better is the ability to improvise, because at some point your players WILL get into situations you didn’t account for, and

$2.99 bikini costume DLC. You probably don’t want to see Barret’s.

If you can’t improvise, you shouldn’t be DM. The campaign I’m running just finished a several-session sidequest that started when the party Half-Orc Barbarian fell off his Griffon mount into a camp of Orcs that was just supposed to be a random encounter. Due to him being a Half-Orc, I had the Orcs assume he was an

I try to avoid thinking too hard about Birdo.

Except SMB 2 has been fully embraced into Mario canon, even in Japan (where it’s known as Super Mario USA, I believe). Peach’s moveset in Smash Bros. is evidence enough of that, but plenty of enemies introduced there have become recurring Mario monsters. Plus, they remade it as a launch title for the GBA. Literally

Hopefully he’s smart and hires someone who knows how to manage the business aspects of his company. Both because he may not be equipped to handle that sort of task, and because any administrative work would distract him from development. The latter is the same reason I don’t think we’ll ever see Miyamoto as the CEO of

I’ve played this some, and my only real complaint has nothing to do with the gameplay itself- this game seems to be a MASSIVE battery muncher, moreso than other mobile games I’ve played. It’s a really fun concept, but too much of a battery drain to play when you aren’t plugged in.

Eh, Hoopa was for X and Y as well. And the second Diancie distribution included X and Y. They usually don’t exclude the older games in the generation when it comes to the “We pretended this thing didn’t even exist” Pokémon.

Congratulations, Ubisoft, you’ve ruined Tetris! First the smartphones, and now you!

Have you read the Injustice tie-in comics? Because Alfred’s moments alone make those worth it.

I fail to see what Smooth Jazz Waluigis have to do with any of this.

Only thing missing was “No Entry” sign shenanigans. Either a bunch of people cramped in a small space because they refuse to violate the integrity of the sign, or a big sign right at the exit preventing anyone from leaving the part. I was expecting the latter when he was running to the exit at the end.

That and my gut

“I want to get off MR BONES WILD RIDE.”

I love how many voices in the industry have spoken out in support of Kojima. I wonder if Konami has any plans to backpedal yet, or if they've just accepted that they've gone too far to save this.

Cheaper than re-using the SNES sprites? Because that would have been an improvement. Even scaled up, those are some very nice sprites.

Sally Field as Aunt May will forever be one of the most underrated performances in superhero movies.

So, why is Revengeance non-canonical? Was there an official statement on that or something?

Actually, I would have done Aerith as Kojima. Although sadly, you can’t rename Sephiroth “Konami”.

Please tell me you didn’t name Aerith “Iwata”.

Kojima-san doesn’t have to get credit for making Metal Gear any more.
