Sony ran outta golden tickets by the time I heard about em....sad.

I’ve been so incredibly annoyed by this whole debacle... I’ve been annoyed by scalpers ever since I wanted a Majora’s Mask 3DS like 8 years ago. I just want to give Sony my money to receive the console. I’ll gladly tke a ticket number and wait in line, just find a way to somehow restrict it to one ticket per person.

God I wish they had ANYTHING on Elden Ring, but unfortunately not. I wonder when we can expect more info on that.

There are some Sony fanboys like myself who benefit from this. I was never gonna buy FFXV or The Last Guardian, but now I’ll get to play them!

Ah yes, Nintendo’s picking up the ol McRib strategy, huh?

Yeah, big agree. I generally ended up playing the game as a certain style for stints without swapping because it was such a pain to change charms. I’d play for a while as an archer until I got to a heavy combat section and swap all my stuff out, but then I’d just keep playing as melee for a while because it was a pain

I agree with the sentiment about basically all of their projects. Smite is the exception though. It’s much more than a “LoL copy”, and since Paragon shut down it’s now the only game of its kind. It’s got such a great core gameplay hook.

I ended up quitting Sekiro for a while before starting over and eventually beating it. The trick eventually became that I needed to finally start playing the game as the developers intended me to. In my initial attempts, I ended up attempting to dodge all the hits because that’s how I played DS and Bloodborne.

One of my absolute favorite game mechanics ever is the two drones and the fact that in many missions (like...a LOT of them) you could complete the objective with Marcus nowhere near the access point. It was so much fun to plant Marcus nearby the building, safely tucked away, then stealthily use the drones to weave

This game has really good gameplay bones, but lacks a solid competitive game loop. The act of playing the game feels really good, but it’s everything around that which needs work (things like counter-building your enemy, giving people a reason to fight while leveling up instead of circling the map around each other

That’s mostly it, but its other claim to uniqueness is that it has PvE elements in it too, making it more MOBA-like than Overwatch.

The monthly sub for XIV is $12.99 if you want the “entry level”, which is enough for 95% of the players. Basically the only restriction is that you can only have 1 character per server, but that’s fine for most people because you can level all the classes/jobs on the same character so there’s no need for multiple

Hopefully the game can regain some players with these updates. It has really good bones, and I wrote about those in a comment on a previous Zack-Crucible article. Focusing on one mode, pushing updates to the map, and balancing heroes around that mode could go a long way towards making the game a lot more fun.

The game has good bones, but it’s got a bit of an identity crisis in gameplay. Others have already said this, but Crucible isn’t quite sure if it wants to be a hero shooter or a MOBA (or even a battle royale). The 4v4 mode is most of what I played. I found that the moment-to-moment gameplay was really fun, but it

First thing I read, too, before I realized it’s “organic”. Some people get too attached to their fonts, haha.

Have they confirmed whether or not you can choose to play as a Lady Ghost of Tsushima? It seems like you play as a named character, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the option isn’t there, but even these big open world games usually give you the choice these days.

There’s a “stick to sports” joke in here somewhere. Quick, someone more clever than me get on it!

I thought for sure that Soloman’s final plan was going to involve nuking the Incite building, Rehoboam, and by extension the surrounding city. I don’t have much to base that off of, other than I thought the nuking of Paris was super random and would be good foreshadowing material.

That’s good to know. What I’m more interested in is will I be able to play this with UPlay+? I’m still in the discount trial period, but I wont be renewing if I can’t play the new AC!

I would’ve thought that this woulda been the year of ESVI, given how long they’ve been working on it, but if they’re not holding a press conference then I guess we’re still at least a year out.
