Even worse, every student has the same books, bought at the same bookstore. It’s like a cult.

Those locks are super common in NYC because almost nothing else allows you to keep your bike.  When I moved there I was stunned to see that lock on bikes that were worth less than the lock.

One of the best bike locks made, being used by students in city where if you turn around your bike gets stollen. Definitely ‘suspicious.’

The fact that it’s currently the most popular post on the site would beg to differ.

That is a little suspicious.

Well I mean suspicious that a bunch of students are buying a 225 dollar chain lock for 85 dollars.

The actors off SVU are better detectives.

Except if the battery fails at 10 years old, the resale value of that vehicle will be peanuts, and the original buyer is going to have to eat that bill in much higher depreciation - which will make them unhappy.

Side note....that’s a killer deal on a Kryptonite Fagheddaboudit.

So NYPD leadership doesn’t seem to know what a “New York City” bike lock is? Automakers care about resale because 1) dealers care about selling used cars and 2) people won’t buy a new car if they know the resale value is zero.

Although I would absolutely vote for a ban on any vehicle - lifted or not - that obstructs the driver's view of the road in front. Even OEM pickups have gotten so high, with such high hoods, that they're resulting in increasing numbers of pedestrian fatalities, usually children.

Obviously they are doing it to own the libs. As a self-proclaimed lib, I do feel thoroughly owned whenever I see a lifted Ram rolling coal and trying really hard to make it home without getting his third DUI that year.

Eh...

Just start dropping the trucks into an industrial shredder. Nothing of value will be lost.

This right here. He'll FAFO, one needs friends in prison and he won't have any.

The line to use when swinging those tire irons & baseball bats is, “Those who refuse to be bound by the law also refuse its protections.”

Who needs an eclipse when you have a prescription for ketamine?

Good news investors! Tesla is scheduling a new vote to once again try to give Elon a $56 billion bonus!

He also said focusing on the Robotaxi is the “blindingly obvious move.”
