Ungreyed, because that’s genuinely hysterical. You’ve painted a delicious word picture- thank you.

And for you and everyone else, I do GET that there’s something special about bone-shaking noise that EVs will never live up to. Again, my argument isn’t that EV woooobles are a drop-in replacement for an NA V12 at 8k

The Venn Diagram of people who think that electric performance cars don’t sound cool and people who have masculinity issues is pretty much a circle.

That sounds rad as hell. Does it sound better than ICE? Wrong question- it sounds different because it IS different. You can appreciate both for different reasons.

Honest question, do we have any evidence that Tencent has a technical/developmental role in the Riot structure?
I got the impression they brought Riot under a business umbrella and left the technical work largely untouched.

Jason, do you play DnD?
I think you’d adore DnD.

ALL HAIL THE PEOPLE’S KING

Okay kiddo, want to discuss at all what was wrong about his assessment?

I’m with him and I totally get his reasoning here...

But I can’t help but feel like there’s some money in this from Riot.
Mostly because if they ARENT already approaching people with contracts to switch over publicly, they’re making a colossal mistake.

Guarantee most of these are started by the same small group of people and/or russians/chinese/iranian agents

If you’re going to betray us for the Light, at least get some good blue-light filtering glasses.

I wish. World would get a lot better a lot faster.

Where’s the edit where the car is 2020 and the roundabout is COVID?

“West Germany’s most famous ventriloquist”
The diction here implies that West Germany had a large and competitive market of ventriloquism, which I love deeply.

Unfortunately, yes, but it is the Dry form. The younger one is skin and bones. He has his good days and he has his bad days. A daily oral steroid has helped him a lot. The older cat got it from him, which is to say she tested positive- she’s asymptomatic so far. I’m sure it’ll catch up to her eventually.

When I first read that news, I honestly expected it to just be an FIP diagnosis (caused by the common and usually harmless Feline Coronavirus) being wildly misrepresented/misunderstood by the media.

He could be trans, a crossdressing enthusiast, or simply an incredibly talented prosthetic makeup artist, who knows!

All we know is that Luke confidently and repeatedly used male pronouns and the creator goes by “PrinceOfFluffey”, so the dude identifies as male, or at least prefers male pronouns. Easy as that.

Fair counterpoint! The article definitely made it sound like there was a much more significant drop in traffic along the route.

There’s a huge difference between planning ahead for traffic (a valid and important part of the strategy and challenge) and taking advantage of a massive universal happenstance.

It’s like the hurdler saying “oh well I noticed there were less hurdles on the track today because half of them were being painted, so I ran

I mean, I’m neither here or there on if it was any more or less morally questionable to do a cannonball run during an epidemic...

But my gut reaction is that its kinda cheap. This is a little bit slippery-slope, I’ll grant you, but it vibes like if a major automaker pulled enough strings to shut down the whole route

Oh you’re totally in the clear, to be honest. You’re at way more risk popping into a grocery store or going through the drive-thru.

That may or may not be a good enough reason to the cops, though, if you’re somewhere enforcing a curfew.

I have two cars at present (one EV, one ICE), so the gas car ends up sitting most of the time anyways. I’ve gotten in the habit of just leaving the negative terminal on the battery loose enough to wiggle off, and doing that every time I’m done driving it. Takes less than 30 seconds. I have the radio code memorized too.
