I dunno, man- To hide from the Nazis, 8 people lived for over two years in a 450sqft attic with no TV, no videogames, no phonecalls or texts to friends- not even the ability to take a walk.

You can survive ~3 months with 80% of the normal amenities and 30% of the human contact.

Honest question- have you actually driven one?

Trump touted a false cure on national television with his trademark confidence, and it’s already claimed one confirmed life, nearly a second. It’s almost certainly done much greater damage than that already.
He’s let big business soothsay him into trying to reopen by easter, long before social distancing efforts would

It’s logarithmic, my dude- Linear=Exponential, which is the point for things like outbreaks and population metrics.

Right I also didn’t really get that- I also didn’t love the vibe that landlords don’t do any work, they simply profit off the wages of other people?
Which, like... I guess you could argue about any necessity? Doctors only profit off the wages of other people. Grocery stores only profit off the wages of other people.

Oooh, survivorship bias!

Well, you showed your cards. Into the unconventional beauty of pasty, wrinkly, samey-looking inbreds, huh?

Meghan is, by several orders of magnitude, the most beautiful and elegant woman, inside and out, to grace the royal family in 200 fucking years.
THAT is why they hate her.

I don’t know how I ended up here and no one will ever read this comment, but I felt the need to be pedantic-
All the gears AREN’T moving- because after maybe the 3rd gear reduction or so, the backlash in the gears is large enough and the previous reduction is still trying to close the gap. That is to say, the next gear

I don’t give a shit what the creator thinks, I will face god and walk backwards into hell before I taint my lips with “Jif”.

I think the article is fairly misleading. The equipment has cameras on board which took these pictures. Lidar is being used to create a 3D map of the contents so they can better plan the controlled destruction/disassembly.

LIDAR is a ToF sensor that builds a point cloud- there’s no way you could get reflections with

Only “lying” due to a system failure after over 300k miles.

Much like someone getting stranded because the gas gauge failed or the gas pump went out. I don’t think it’s honest to say the rental car company “lied” about your vehicle’s effective range when a mechanical failure shows a quarter tank when the tank is

Well the humidity definitely doesn’t help, but it mostly just lowers the effectiveness. Definitely increases net use!

I think it really hurts around here when your white car with tan interior doesn’t even need to be in the sun to be 150 degrees inside and 135 under the hood. It’ll also still be 105 degrees out at 3am.

Ar

It ran out of juice because of a system failure.
It’s not about how easy or hard it is to charge.

My girlfriend has found enormous relief with micro-dosing THC. The attacks are about 4 times less frequent, and when they do happen a larger dose can eliminate them entirely or at the very least help her get to sleep.

She’s a whole different person now- I can’t recommend it enough if it’s an option available.

Do you live in a desert?
I don’t know a single person with a car over 70k that HASN’T had a compressor replaced. Toyota/Lexus, Honda/Acura, Fords, and the usual German Suspects.
It’s ESPECIALLY guaranteed on modern luxury cars with dark paint and dark interiors.

Then someone with your impeccable planning skills would likely never run out of charge, either.

What’s your point?

I mean, it definitely looks like a buzzer.
I’d give 75% odds it’s a buzzer, 25% odds its a hall-effect or magnetic reed sensor.
To the latter point, was there a magnet or evidence of a previous magnet on the panel above where the mystery part was? It could be a sensor for detecting when the panel has been removed, vis a

And here’s my entry for WORST packing job, with the beautiful disaster that was me needing to get a huge, 30-pound computer case to UPS after it arrived damaged and I had to RMA it.
