This is incredibly useful for me. I'll be sure to share this with all of my other Wyoming-based friends!

I am reminded of videos I used to see in the early 90's that were included with Kings Quest VI and the like. The narrator even sounds the same.

I have a nice set of Ultrasone headphones and an OK set of speakers with a subwoofer, and I've become more critical of sound quality over the years. I blame my parents - they had a nice stereo system that I can remember from my infancy.

The Elder Scrolls. GIMMIE TESV, BETHESDA! GIMMIE!

Dang it! I wanted Call of Duty: Lorem Ipsum Dolor!

I remember disliking the soundtrack for the first one because it sounded like a fake orchestra. This one sounds significantly better. It also sounds like Holst's Mars, Bringer of War, and that's not a bad thing. :D

I enjoy the new version more than I've enjoyed any of the previous Zune players. It has a very good chance at becoming my primary media player.

@Borgendorf: Yeah, if they didn't close the voting afterwards, I think this would be a better idea. Another excellent example:

@matt-at-Thrive: Done, and done good sir! Thank you. Thrive doesn't support my bank yet (As I expected - my bank is used by less than 30,000 people and is extremely local), but I did shoot an email off to support. I'm excited. :D

Leo Laporte mentioned Mint today on one of his podcasts, and that reminded me to go look and see if they supported my bank yet, and they don't. And it just so happens that there's a fresh article about it here. I wonder if he was browsing Lifehacker while recording his show. :D

@valadil: Really? I've been looking for good space pictures for my dual 1920x1200 setup at work, and haven't found much other than the Cartina and Eagle nebulas. I'd kill for this guy's background.

If volume is the most important thing, I will only drink extremely loud water. Like, 11 or greater.

Does Chrome handle downloads like IE does on 7? By that, I mean, does the icon turn into a progress bar? I think it's a cool feature and I'd like all browsers to do that.

I grew up using a Stir-Crazy popcorn popper. Put in some butter flavored oil and some popcorn salt, and you have yourself about a gallon of popcorn. No manual labor involved.

I haven't been following this very much, as I typically don't enjoy (read: hate) racing games. However, I am interested in the engine, since the few shots we have from it look pretty good.

This gallery has got to go. Make one that plays nice with tabbed browsers! The content on Kotaku (not to mention Gizmodo, Lifehacker, and io9) is wonderful. I love it. But I can't access it easily with this terrible gallery system!

This is a fantastic idea. I can't wait for a similar tool for Firefox. That, or a general diagnostic. It might not be just addons. I have a lot of RSS feeds in bookmarks, and I've often wondered if that causes a delay. When I open Firefox, it takes a good 15 seconds before I can actually do anything.

This is neat. It's inspired me to figure out my spending, that's for sure. Thanks Azadeh!
