I have to agree here. I hated Generals, C&C 3, and RA3. And I tell you the truth, I had NO IDEA that EA developed Generals when I first played it. My loathing was instant. The controls were OK and the graphics were fine, I just couldn't stand how the game played. C&C3 was the same way, and additionally I felt that

@AtomFury: I can confirm that. I built one of these things about a year and a half ago, using his instructions. Works well! I added electrical tape all up and down, and on the handle, to facilitate a better grip and make it look cooler.

See, this is why I love Lifehacker. Gina here posts this AppSnap program, and then mentions other programs that are similar that have been featured previously here. It's not just the program, it's the CONCEPT that I like so much.

If Paint.Net had a healing brush, I'd use it instead of Photoshop. As it stands, I like Photoshop for some things (Design from scratch, color correction, RAW file manipulation, logo creation), but Paint.Net is pretty good for others (Simple resizing of images, JPEG optimization, running on my freaking netbook).

I've read that the L4D SDK will be released shortly after the patch. I can't wait, that's why there aren't very many (if any) user-made campaigns out yet.

I've been using Ping.FM for quite some time now. I used Twitter to update my Facebook and Myspace statuses before, but when Twittersync quit working, Twitter became useless to me. I found Ping.FM after that incident, and have been hooked ever since. I have friends that still think it's amazing that I can change my

Haha, I didn't realize this was an ad at first. I read the description on the main page and chuckled.

Wow! NBC is using P2P! Fantastic, I have a room mate whom I think will enjoy this greatly!

What? The cell phone industry is trying to do something that will BENEFIT end users? I thought that was against their TOS.

I'd love to use this, but Mint doesn't support my little credit union yet. :/

More FUD. I thought we were done blatantly lying about crap we didn't know about when Vista was released. Merely posting articles like this make my life way more difficult. I have to sell computers with customers coming in saying stupid stuff like this all the time, and YOU are part of the problem.

I agree to an extent that the minority should be protected from the majority. But in this case, like so many others, the minority isn't being protected; more like smothered. It's YOUR attitude that frightens ME, as I am concerned about your inability to govern efficiently were you called to do something like that.

ARGH. I hate it when the government decides that the needs of the few outweigh the needs of the many. Once again, the government has succeeded in confusing the elderly, enraging the youthful, and needlessly pandering to the poor.
