I didn’t like the first one initially, because it was a shot-for-shot remake of Point Break, which I loved. After I watched 5 I went back to 1 and 2 and liked them a lot more, but Lin is the franchise for me.

I think 2 was the nadir. 3 was sorta the same story as 1, but better acted and shot. It benefited greatly from the director, and Sung Kang, the second lead who stole the show. Probably not a coincidence that Kang’s character died in the last Lin-directed F&F.

This is sorta how I feel when a student emails me with good news, in the middle of the night. I’m sure there’s a German word for it, but it’s like happy and annoyed at the same time.

I want to see C.J. and Josh and Toby getting covid on a trip to, I dunno, Bedminster, New Jersey, and learning in the hotel, over a montaged two weeks, who gave it to them.

I watched The Dark Knight on my computer and it was pretty good. I liked it. But, I watched it in IMAX the second time and it was amazing.

Jeez, it’s like they’re trying to prove something, and this was mostly before covid. My first thought was this is what the Dr. Strange film should’ve looked like, and second: neat, because Strange will probably be in this.

The actress who plays Ms. Marvel, Sandra Saad, fucking kills it. I didn’t mind the annoyances once someone called me (her) an Avenger.

Good for them. When *all* the workers don’t show up it’s the owner who suffers.
