They absolutely should be able to assemble the new Workhorse interior. They’ve had decades of experience putting together cheap looking plastic. I’ll go so far as to bet that they can still have it squeak and rattle like mad while it’s still sitting on the dealer’s lot.

I do have a fair amount of empathy as I grow older. I’ve reached the point that I’m able to give more to church and charities. I do so because I feel an obligation, through my upbringing, to help others. There is plenty of suffering in this world and it serves no purpose to make life harder than it has to be.

Dimwit. The US Constitution as it is written today is at odds with key principles of popular Socialist teachings of the past 80 years.

Heck NO. It would destroy the UAW as we know it. Without embezzlement and misappropriation of funds, all the the nostalgia and power structure will disappear.

I only turn green on spinning carnival rides.

I’m younger than a boomer but still far from X. Not quite ready for Socialism. I haven’t tired of my Constitutional rights, as they stand today. Plus I’m smart and able enough to make my way successfully in life without a Government nanny willing to take away what I’ve worked for in exchange for a marginal false sense

I was waiting on this. Only a matter of time.  Of course now I’m going to be watching clips of this movie at work today.

Not hating on the content, but you are guilty of the same thing. This is a automobile enthusiast site and comments area.

I’ve been around long enough to know that yelling and generally being a delta bravo to people who are serving you food is a recipe for getting sub-standard or ‘enhanced’ food. The best outcome for you is that the business kicks you out without a crumb for your efforts.

If this merger results in FCA bringing ANY car over to France and that car was never made with a V8 option, stay away from it. Small Chrysler and Dodge vehicles will give your Citroen competition for how crappy a car can be. Be especially afraid if the “200"/”Dart” cars are revived for the EU market.

The time before last when I was shopping for a car, the Subi dealer wanted me to fill out a credit app to make sure I could afford the WRX. I declined and they also declined. I asked if proof of funds was acceptable and they said that doesn’t guarantee that I’m serious about buying.

The trade in will always be terrible until Tesla opens a used car operation. Without the ability to sell the car at ‘retail’ price, they’re going to be limited to what they can get at an auto auction.

I drove through the neighbor’s ditch pulling out of the driveway quite a few times because when the PS was cold, it acted like it had Play Doh in the lines. Worse than non-PS cars. Chevrolet dealer said that was just a characteristic and adapting a system from another GM model was the only fix. 7 years later GM came

I keep thinking about the possibility of public transport. Even after 10 years of public transportation being in my area and theoretically possible, the numbers don’t add up.

The story also mentions that Mitsubishi plans to institute a “flexible work schedule” instead of a typical nine-to-five setup, and a “relaxed dress code.” Plus, there’s a move to an “open layout” instead of the cubicles found in the old office, “collaborative work areas to reduce the scourge of closed-door office

Years ago a co-worker managed a really good deal on a new truck after the dealer lost his keys on his trade in. This dealer was so shady they had an unofficial slogan “The Tricky Dodge Dealer”. The owner’s last name rhymes with “Tricky”. I digress....

Time will tell if Geely will be good for Volvo, but so far, that Chinese brand is breaking the cheap as “f” Chinese design model with Volvo.

Front suspension parts seem to be a reoccuring theme with GM’s mid size SUVs. That, I’ll give you. Every manufacturer have sore spots in their parts bins.

Ease of maintenance is so undervalued. I count my blessing that my wife’s Accord never needed an oil pan gasket. It was only the front crank oil seal at $120 repair, at the Honda dealer nonetheless.
