I can even deal with Facebook, though I do wish they'd update it. I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10 inch and love it. Hubby got an iPad mini and wishes I'd trade with him. Not gonna happen.

Too much junk to carry around when several of those items can readily multitask.
Great article! I've been using Pocket for over a year, but never knew about the batch add option....going to try that out right now!
Meh, no impressed. Yawn....next.
This is pretty much the system I've been using the last few years minus the fancy name and special timer. I just use the timer on my phone or tablet. I DO use it more in the GTD manner in that my day begins with planning and prioritizing, then is split up into the increments.
Blog post on how I came up with my system that works for me. Your results may vary.
I just got one last night after researching them for a couple months and I am loving mine. I see it replacing my traditional windows laptop. Plan to now use the windows machine for a backup ONLY.
Just give it a shot...I was wildly surprised by the complexity of apps available for mine.
That is something that is personal for each person, so only you will be able to decide what works best for you. For me, I actually had both the paper calendar and google calendar until January of this year. What I found was it was DOUBLE WORK (which I loathe more than ANYTHING) as I was having to review the paper…
I just bought a chromebook last night and that is how it was explained to me...when it's gone it's gone. But Google has made it REALLY cheap to purchase that space so when my 2 free years is up I will just cough up the dough to keep the space. LOVE LOVE LOVE my chromebook and this new way of computing!
I have been using windows 8 on my lenovo laptop since it first came out and while I initially hated it, I have grown comfortable with it. As Whitson mentioned in his article you don't HAVE to use that Metro UI...I run everything on my pc from the desktop. Online time I see that interface is if I need to get into…
Thanks!
I think the true key in productivity with apps and GTD systems is to customize them to what works for YOU. I DO have several apps like Evernote, Google Calendar and Google drive that I HAVE stuck with for much more than a month (years in the case of EN and Google Calendar) and the reason I have stuck with them as…
I've always had the best luck with HP printers. You mentioned the office jet 8600 is discontinued, wonder if that will make getting ink hard for it?
I was thinking the exact same thing Andy. A little too minimalist for me and I consider myself a minimalist.
some people truly are that busy. I don't tell anybody how busy I am to impress anyone. I know the reason I'm so busy is my own fault for taking on more than I should. My current focus is to be more conservative with what I commit to and clear my plate so I have more time for myself.
I am so ingrained in the "android" habit of needing to kill any apps I am not currently using that I do this religiously on my iphone...time to retrain myself I guess.
I've kinda figured on my own that I MUST be in bed NO LATER than 11pm to easily get up and feel rested in the morning. No need for a fancy sleep tracker for me...they creep me out. Instead I have an alarm set on my iphone at bedtime to remind me. I got out of the habit the last couple weeks and REALLY notice the…
I do something like any.do's moment, but I like to do it each evening. Review what I accomplished for the day and revisit the things I did not accomplish to ensure they are truly things that "need" doing and then plan for the coming day...works for me. As a teacher my mornings are just SUPER hectic so the evening…
Pretty cool, but a little TOO stark for my personal taste. Maybe that's a "woman thing" to want to have a few (not a ton) personal things around. But I do like the furniture set up and all of the techy gadgets!
