Nope, if anything you’d want the plane and boat to travel in the same direction. The plane only cares about the speed of air going over the wings, not the speed relative to the surface. That’s why putting a plane on a treadmill does nothing, it doesn’t do anything to get air moving over the wings faster.

Have had WF accounts for about a decade. But between this and their other issues, I’m just about done. Currently researching new banks now

starred for blood-hoses and air intake/exhaust tube

I wouldn’t say their work is done. They’ve only started an arms race on 1/2 the electric car equation. Nobody else is working on the charging side quite like Tesla, which I feel is going a longer way to mainstream acceptance of EVs than the cars themselves. Knowing there are manufacturer approved charging points

Looks great. The CHMSL is awfully close vertically to the other two lights, similar to the California. Are they going to have to add dumb secondary tail lights in the bumper for US market cars like they did for the old model?

I feel his pain. I had my new car for <3 weeks and it got smashed. Still in the body shop a week and half later :(

The robovac is already saying out of stock :(

That’s actually much better pricing than I expected. This will probably be my next ride in a few years, pending what it actually drives like of course. Then I really will look like the old man I feel like inside, showing up in a Buick wagon.

Saw this race at Lime Rock a few weeks ago, and I have to admit I was impressed. It was clearly one of the best cars on the track.

Just head to a race. The parking lot at Lime Rock was full of them last weekend.

I’ve been in a very similar ad campaign for Budweiser. What he’s describing here is exactly right. I’m no Bud fan, but when you’re in a room full of cameras and the one actor being paid to smile hands you a “mystery” beer to try you can’t help but tailor your reaction to what they expect.

Hey Shep, do you have any suggestions for a waterproof version of a light like this? I’m looking for something I can put on the ceiling above the shower. A normal version probably would end up shorting out or corroding due to the condensation.

So much this. Everyone in my office drives either a Jeep GC or an Explorer. When I say I’d rather drive a smaller car and end up with a fusion (which is not a small car, but compared to those it is) I get mocked. These people have 0-1 kid each.

No, it won’t be nearly as quick as a sport and the current one costs about the same as a sport for a low to mid-level trim. But it will likely have a much nicer interior, and if I can get a hatch or wagon I would willingly trade power for more useful space (the trunk opening on a fusion is tragic). That said I don’t

I was so hoping this would be released this spring. Sadly it didn’t quite come in time for me otherwise I probably would’ve gotten it (and no it’s not bs the regal was on my shortlist but the current gen is too small).

Exactly, couldn’t have said it better myself.

No, you’re not the only one. I used to own an A4 and for a while I obsessed over everything they did. Lately though, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I know Pocket Casts works with AA, not sure about Podkicker though. If you install AA on your phone (it’s just an app in the Play Store) you can get a feel for how it works, including what apps work with it.

Well considering the base sedan is $22k, no shit. Why does it need to be under $20k?

Ok, sure. That makes an even better case, since a Fusion hatchback/wagon will be less than half that. Ford’s making money offering pretty unique performance cars in the US market (both the FiST and FoST only have a handful of competitors each) and this would add to that.
