Well yeah, a wagon’s going to have a little more weight and rear overhang. But it’s miles better than the weight, height and handling of an SUV with most of the cargo capacity. If they’re seeing growth in their performance 5-doors why not try to expand that to other cars in the lineup?

3rd: “This is a really unique area that an SUV can’t really deliver.”

That’s fair to be skeptical given the sources. I think the point of the article was to try to explain why this has seen so many delays. If you’re going to be that fickle about a door handle, I imagine there’s quite a lot more stuff they’ve gone back and forth over that’s caused contractors to miss deadlines. Gizmodo

If you click through to the source article it gives a few more examples, notably about a door handle that was discussed for at least a year and a half with no resolution.

I’m partial to Corvette myself, but it’s hard not to root for Risi. It does always seem like they are right there hanging with the big teams. Do they get much factory support?

I think he said in an interview he was saving fuel and the Ford just slipped past. Once Muller was out there he couldn’t catch him, but he almost got the Porsche by the end. If he didn’t have to dial it down I’m guessing Ferrari wins.

This thread is underrated. Well done.

Oh damn hadn’t heard that. The fuel limitations in F1 are so asinine - if you’re not going to allow them to refuel, at least give them a large enough tank they can race at 10/10ths the whole time. The teams will naturally want to make the PUs more efficient so they can use smaller tanks for less weight; there’s no

Didn’t they get an extra 5 kg of fuel to compensate for the extra drag? Not sure if that’s enough though.

No, I love it especially for the black Friday price I got it at. Another HDMI port would be nice but so far it hasn’t teally been an issue. I just use the included apps instead of our old apple TV. Though weirdly the amazon app doesn’t seem to work today...

It really is confusing. I was driving myself crazy researching TVs before I finally bought one.

I got the same TV. From what I understand it has the capability to read HDR inputs, but it can’t really take advantage of it. The screen is not capable of reproducing the HDR image. I wonder if this TCL set would have the same problem.

They may be heading in that direction. That new O.A. show they just released has some pretty random episode lengths, ranging from 30-90 mins. I like it since it lets them stop where it makes sense, not just when they hit their time quota.

I know I’m late to this article, but that Ghana story was really well done. I’m sad to hear it wasn’t all that popular, because it ranks right up there with your take down of Super Replicas for me.

And at the end of the day, that’s all this really is: a PR move. It won’t affect their bottom line in any significant way.

Definitely Uber. VW’s cheating scandal is just a regular Tuesday at Uber.

Yes! Still one of my favorite episodes

Damn. I was really eyeing a Pebble as a good jump into smart watches.

I had the same experience with my gf. She had never considered a Mazda until I talked her into test driving one. She now loves her CX-5.

Tom, have you heard anything about Tesla’s efforts in CT? It seems like it would be a pretty big market for them, but I haven’t heard anything about it since that bill to allow them in was killed earlier in the year.
