Definitely a Camry. The tail lights are straight lines, Corollas are circular. It's a last gen white Camry.

When I was in drivers ed, the instructor told us a story about some kids who broke down on the highway and pulled onto the left hand shoulder. They were in a Taurus (the bubble look one) and put on their hazards. Because they were red hazards, a truck driver who wasn't really paying attention thought they were in…
Or you could, you know, get one of those mobile hotspots. I have one I leave in my car plugged into the 12V outlet so it's always charged, works the same way. It's probably cheaper than this too.
It's great to see this is finally up and running. I work with a lot of the engineers on this program and they've been at this a long time. Design work is pretty much done now, so most of them have now been transferred to other programs. In fact, the office building Sikorsky rented specifically to house all the…
While you're other points are valid, this is definitely not another case of "tart up old equipment and call it new." It's a completely new aircraft, including a new airframe, engines, transmissions, hydraulics, avionics, etc. About the only thing this shares with the 53E is most outer dimensions, which were dictated…
I'm not sure I understand that. So they're going to have 2 luxury brands in the same building? Maserati just released their 5 and 7 series rivals in the past few years, so is Alfa going to be competing with those? Or is Alfa sticking to the smaller cars?
Great post, thanks for sifting through all the rumor and conjecture on this aircraft. I'm really liking your site more and more, keep it up!
Hmm, the market just got more interesting, but at the low $30k range the good versions of this go for there's a whole lot out there to compete with. I had my next car narrowed down to a loaded Fusion or a base R/T Charger, but I might have to give this a look.
There is so much COTD down here
That's a good point. Mazda's ad campaign lately has been terrible, comparing their cars to Thomas Edison and all these other historical figures/moments. It just doesn't make any sense. Yeah, they make a good car, but they didn't invent the light bulb or revolutionize anything really. I think most people see these ads…
"Lamborghini is very proud of not using any wings or active flaps like the ones "you see on other cars"."
Isn't the point of Lamborghini to HAVE these sorts of things? This is a statement I'd expect from Porsche or McLaren, not Lamborghini. These are supposed to be ridiculous looking, right?
Not sure if you knew this or not, but the CR-Z already has a manual option. It's even a 6-speed. So your proposal is actually just a mild update of the hybrid system with a new gas engine and some programming for the buttons. Should be easy, right?
We're seeing additional problems reported with the engine hesitates, the automatic transmission shifts roughly, and the engine lacks power.
This sounds fantastic! Thanks for the writeup Raph, I'm definitely gonna try out Lime Rock this summer. Related note: I'm trying to buy something this spring/summer that I can work on myself and hoon at autocross etc. Does anyone have any suggestions for 5-10k? I'm thinking a miata (of course) but is there anything…
Any word on a charger/300 refresh? I know its not the most exciting reveal if it happens, but I will selfishly ask because I'm probably getting one in the fall
