You’re right the premise of small government is at times worth discussion but the current manifestation is just dismantling what stands in the way of their profit (bonus points if Obama started it) or privatizing what can bring them more profit - the USPS and the VA to name two big ones.

I can’t find a conservative ideology anymore. I honestly can’t find it. It used to be “small government” which, while I didn’t always agree with, I understood the premise of. Now, it seems as if conservative ideology is just making liberals upset. That is it. 

I also haven’t seen it. But piggybacking on Thom H.’s comment, “Because sometimes art is difficult and forces us to look at things we find uncomfortable” I would say it’s a little silly to assume all entertainment is prescriptive. You know?
