Tony!!! I agree with you about ‘regular’ names for animals. My cat’s name is Vinny (foster mom named him, and it stuck. It’s VINCENT when he’s in trouble, which is very often). 

You’re not kidding on the sweet tooth! He does kinda look Dulce to me, too!

No - he’s with mama. He will not be coming home until the end of March. We definitely would NOT take him that early! ;) He’ll be our second Boxer boy as we lost our first 8 years ago. It’s been hard to replace him. Thank you for your kind words on my anxiety, and for your pup name suggestions!

We had a Boxer boy for 10 years before we lost him to cancer, so this was a no-brainer. We’d gone down all of the ‘regular’ Boxer dog names, but I hadn’t thought of Dempsey! That’s a good one.
