Totally get you here. I’m Lutheran (well, non-religious; only go to church for weddings & funerals), but we’re basically Catholic lite - no confession, half the guilt. Even the most evangelical of our ilk are pretty tame and won’t throat-punch you with prayers and biblical shit while doing community work/service.
