Keeping an old and suffering animal alive through medical whatever can be torturous and painful for the animal. For example, chemotherapy. Vets recommend it, it costs thousands of dollars, and it's basically torture for the animal.

And chemo is torture. I really don't think it's fair to put an animal who has no idea whats' going on through it.
