Since I was obviously talking about cutting the chicken into bite sized pieces for the salad, making a comment about taking the chicken apart in response was rather stupid.

I only start mentioning my family after an internet stranger *almost* convinces me I don’t have one.

Not that this really matters at all, but this was your comment:

My family of 5 is not a family of 4, you are correct.

Yeah, lots of bullshit required to butcher a cooked chicken:

I find it amusing that you feel as though you are the only commenter on a website devoted to food who has cooked before.

Will you be upset when that creative lesson takes significantly less than 15 minutes?

Ah yes, the person who cant find 15 spare minutes to provide his family a meal instead of frozen processed crap is the one missing vital life experience.

Life must be tough without thumbs or any creative ability whatsoever.

Yes, my imagination has ignorantly convinced me that 6 individual cuts will take me less than 2 minutes and 30 seconds per cut.

What part of this:”And as someone who who cooks actual meal for a family” makes you think I shop at 7-11? I shop at the real grocery store for whole foods and make good meals out of it. That’s how I know you are wrong.

You could argue it but you’d be wrong. What are they putting on this sandwich? White bread most likely, that’s trash. Lunch meat full of nitrates? That’s trash. PB&J full of sugar? That’s trash.

Another angle:

I would argue a sandwich is more of a meal (and likely has far more nutritional value) than a Hungry Man.

Well, no. The majority of the cook times in this article for the microwave were ~10 minutes (and significantly longer in the oven). In 10 minutes, you can do a hell of a lot in the kitchen.

I’m actually from Canada as well - I would place M&M in an entirely different category not accounted for above. I’m not sure what the US equivalent would be.

Excuse me sir, I was wondering where this fits into your list:

To be completely honest I wasn’t expecting to have much of a discussion - I was being a bit dramatic.

I actually don’t own a microwave either, although that wasn’t even a conscious decision really - we moved into our house, realized we didn’t have one, and have never needed one since.

For those people, this is the alternative
