...That these people in general do not excel at critical thinking?
Suggesting people who elect to beat the shit out of each other for a living - knowing full well the extent of what they are doing to their bodies - apply critical thinking to any activity is wishful thinking.
But actually, I think I simply prefer the convenience of cans. They also keep light out, which is apparently Very Bad for beers packaged in lighter coloured (or clear) bottles.
Can I shotgun a Miller Lite in my shower from a bottle?
I can’t remember the last time I consumed a beer from a bottle. Cans are the superior beer vessel.
If you’re using vercure (or whatever its called) you’re either healing yourself unnecessarily or your healer is extremely not good. The community isn’t close to split on how to best use RDM’s utility, but there are bad players out there who don’t know how to leverage their jobs tools effectively.
You sound fun like an asshole.
Most of the time (for 8 man content) its simply more efficient.
As someone who recently got married: parents.
I actually forgot the Halladay trade was his. I also choose to forget this franchise was so mismanaged they were essentially forced to part with Roy Halladay.
I actually had this argument the other day: With the benefit of hindsight, almost all of his trades worked out. Syndergaard for Dickey is the only one that should be criticized, and even D’arnaud turned out to be a bust. Hoffman, who at the time was a virtual certainty to be a front end starter, has also struggled…
Amazing that of the Big 3, only Syndergaard stuck. Nicolino only ever pitched a seasons worth of innings in the MLB.
Sanchez has been impressively bad over the last two months. I agree they’ll do everything they can to trade Stroman, but yeah, it would be nice to see him stay - especially considering he wants to be here.
I’m not entirely sold on the thought that dealing Stroman is a good idea, assuming the start of the contention window is 2021. Identifying and acquiring impact prospects is not foolproof by any means, and Stroman - who would be 30? - would be exactly the type of pitcher/veteran presence required to help anchor that…
Well shit, I got got.
There have been multiple updates, both in the form of a deadcast, and a feature article that was entirely about the accident and the aftermath.
You can not be a fan of Starbucks and still appreciate the fact their app is the only fast food app that seamlessly integrates a useful loyalty program and a mobile wallet in one spot. The fact that I can wake up, place an order, and go grab that order without ever having to find my wallet is extremely convenient -…
The only useful restaurant app is the Starbucks app, and that’s largely because it’s linked to the Gold card.
I’m not suggesting this is anything but a horrific idea, but the Bills series in Toronto was a bit different. People largely didn’t go because ticket prices were insane, and you couldn’t tailgate anywhere. There are plenty of Bills fans (lol) in the GTA who would have gone to those games otherwise.
I think you’re right, and corporate money has been a strong pro for moving a team to Montreal. The metro area also has half a million more people living in it than it did when the team left - I don’t think they’d have an issue filling seats.
