(Next week, Image is reprinting issue #4 so I'll have all five issues so I can clarify later). So for now, and I doubt even the mighty Brian K. Vaughn can sway

I read the first volume of his diaries and they are fascinating. Not just because of the Python stuff but everything else that was going on in his life. Of course, like Python, there are cultural/political references I don't understand. But I'd definitely recommend it.

I think Cleese said it in the 'Almost the Truth' documentary that Idle is more of 'The Manager' of the group. Meaning that while he did come up with great bits he was great at putting all the sketches together in some sort of order for each episode. So more then likely most, if not all, the episode are sorted because

Wow. Getting into Jacques Tati I know notice the similarities from that Terry Jones skit on the Beach to M. Hulot's Holiday. Kinda adds a new level for me considering I didn't enjoy it all too much on original viewing.

I completely forgot that the trailer for this movie ends with people getting shot up in a theater. Thank god I didn't get that at my screening for DKR or people would have went ape shit.
