I have definitely heard people say AIDS is now a chronic illness. I really have no idea about current advances in treating AIDS or HIV, but it's a scary way to think given the possible outcomes!!!
I blame it feels better without condoms. Granted, if I was single and doing it, I would be using them regardless of how it feels. But for me at least, and my husband, I hated when we used them and so did he.
Ohhhhh I wanted a dog sooo badly when I was growing up. My parents always had an excuse not to though... our yard isn't fenced in, we couldn't go on vacation, etc etc. Then when I was in college they moved across the country and as an apology to my youngest brother who they uprooted in middle school, they got him a…
We boil then saute ours. Boil whole for just a minute or two til they are bright green and you can smell them a little bit. Cut in half. Then in a pan where you just cooked a tiny bit of pancetta (or a lot of pancetta), toss the halves with some pepper and a tiny bit of olive oil (if the pancetta isn't greasy enough).…
Brussels sprouts are the best vegetable out there. I tried them once in a restaurant by accident (it was under my steak, lol) and then my husband made them with pancetta once and we were completely hooked. I have no idea why they have such a bad reputation. Make it with bacon, it's a gateway drug, then once you love…
Just like my kids!
I used to want a dog really badly, but between stories like yours, and my brother and his fiancee who talked about getting up all night with their puppy (they WOKE the dog to let it pee, I didn't even do that with my kids) and cleaning shit off the walls after putting the pup in her crate while they went out to eat,…
Are those just horrifically bad pictures of Jena Malone or does she have the world's worst smile??
A tiny bit leaked out once when they were like 8 months old, but that's the only time poop has ever breached the walls. Now that I've said this though, I'm sure they'll wake up from nap time in a couple hours covered in poop!
Ohhh, I thought our secret was swaddlers!! I think the thing is that my guys were preemies and were pretty constipated when they were little (once every other day poopers then), and now they're toddlers and it's all pretty solid. Plus they've never had a stomach bug, which I'm sure helps!!
Care in that I notice them from time to time, yes; care in that it makes any difference in whether someone is datable/marriage material/ a good friend, no.
I think when people make shitty comments like that they are probably thinking of what THEY were like at 24 and assuming you were the same (which you obviously were not).
I think the best way to do it is to have them when you feel ready, not at 24 or 48 or any arbitrary age in between.
I can barely handle them now at 34, so yeah no thanks at 26!
Exactly what it sounds like! Though I am lucky enough that neither of my kids ever had one (yet, they're still in diapers at 2yrs). Pampers Swaddlers FTW.
Lionel Richie is that you??
Haha, yes, I reinstated them a few years ago (even before my kids were born) when I found that Trader Joes sells them!!! For a while they were hard to find so I had stopped after growing up. Now I might have to buy two, one for the kids and one for me.
Advent begins when mom starts handing out the chocolate from that calendar, and ends when the chocolate runs out. Chocolate advent calendars were awesome.
