True, true. I grew up Catholic and only have happy memories of awesome garish decorations and lights up the wazoo. I roll my eyes at the Jesus blow up doll next to the blow up Santa and snowman, but I do love it all.

Totally. My parents have slowed down on the crazy gift giving now that my dad is retired and I still have a flash of "Man it sucks to not get covered in presents every year!" come Christmas morning. We still make out fine, but at a more manageable level.
Yup, I love the Christmas songs too. And once in a while I find myself listening to Christmas music and singing along to super Jesus-y ones and I just laugh. The atheist singing "oh come all ye faithful!" But I also sing "Santa Claus is Coming To Town" and no longer believe in him either. Some of them are just pretty…
Same here! Atheist, but I LOVE Christmas and the whole season. We use it to celebrate spending time with family and winter because we love winter too.

By leagues!!!! Although Draco is looking pretty good there too.
Who would have thought Neville would be the hands down hottest cast member!!!
I don't know which one IS Ryan Gosling.
Oh my god about the sleep! That must have been crazy. I am blessed with good enough sleepers. Through the night almost always, but they are early wakers (6am is early to me). I hear about friends kids who sleep until 9am and I just want to cry!!!
Haha, my twins are only first and only kids so I've never known one kid. But from the fact that people say one kid is really, really hard when they're newborns I think it must be TERRIFYING to have twins after having a singleton. Thankfully it's all I've known :)
Mine are boisterous. Mainly I think I've avoided injury by knowing them so well I know when to make sure my head isn't near their heads!
I was soooo 100% in the opposite direction. My kids are nearly 2 and I'm still waiting for my sex drive to return. I'm just too god damn tired to want sex. And most of the time by the end of the day I'm so sick of kids hanging on me that I just don't want to be touched.
Same here. I think I've seen Annie about a million times. I don't care if I'm grown up and have kids of my own, it still might be my favorite movie. I fucking love it. She was so pretty as Grace.
I had no one to throw a shower (fam and friends mostly live far away), so I just didn't have one. We did a registry, mainly so our parents could get us stuff if they wanted to, and if someone asked for it we sent the link to it. I don't really feel like I missed out. It would have been fun, but my kids came so early I…
Haha, my mom's brown hair started going grey years ago and she colors it because she says it is some dingy dishwater color and it's only that color in the front so she'd look like bride of Frankenstein. She wishes it would turn actual grey!
Sometimes I feel bad for them, but they are adults now right? They may have told him they don't want to be mentioned in the media and he could be respecting that. The bio children are all very young still and apparently their lives are free material for press still.
Unrelated to the article... I love the kind of show that Scandal is usually. I watched season 1 in a few days and stalled out an episode or two into season 2... should I go back? Is it awesome? Everyone talks about it and I don't want to miss out on something great.
I haven't seen any of Grey's Anatomy since the first episode when it aired, is it a show about very confused people? Because the two pics at the top both look like they're saying "How did I get here? Who am I?"
Man, being a dumb kid is just the worst. Maybe this guy is awful and all that, but if he meant the apology letter he really just seems like a kid making a stupid decision.
